My Jubilee tea published in Simply Homemade!

Do you remember my Jubilee Tea with the 'Elizabeth' Sandwich?  I used some of the free papers and patterns in Simply Homemade magazine to decorate my table and room.  I emailed the magazine with the photos and promptly forgot about it.

Last week I got an email to say that my email and photos would be published in issue 20 of Simply Homemade and that they would be sending me a prize!  I went into town and picked up a copy today.

It was great to see my table and the card I made for my mother-in-law's birthday in the magazine.

My prize books also arrived, the embroidered portraits book is fascinating although I'm not sure my skills are up to the detailed work involved, but I'll definitely be using the Hanging Hearts book which has lots of different hearts and various degrees of difficulty.

It just goes to show, you should send in your letters and photos to the magazines you buy, you just might get published!
