Gammon and Sweetcorn Pie

Another recipe from the Good Housekeeping 7 Fab Family meals for £33. The recipe on the website is for Gammon and Sweetcorn Parcels, but I decided it would be easier to make a big pie. The flavour of the leek with the parsley sauce, gammon and sweetcorn is really delicious. I used ready rolled shortcrust pastry because I didn't have time to make my own (lazy moo!).

  1. Hi Janice! I love your recipes and I have a great time with the items common to your area that are not so common to me. I have had to google a few to be sure I understood. Sloes looked a little like grapes or blueberries but I now know they are not. I learned gammmon is a cut of bacon or ham. Shortcrust is a pie crust? And parcels must be an individual portion? Did I do okay or miss the mark?
